It was right there.

Darr'chuh was sitting with his back to the door looking out at the USS COCHRANE. In reality, Darr still thought of it as Nash's ship. The Mov thought back fondly over his time spent as a newbie on that ship. The whole command crew from those days had assumed an aura of perfection almost in his memory. The were the standard he compared himself to, truth be told.

And such outrageous adventures they had! Skipping back in time to Earth in pursuit of the Ismail. Chasing Morand through the COCHRANE itself. They almost hadn't seen anymore of the villian, but Nash had more decency and mercy ON Morand than Morand had ever had for anyone.

Darr had decided not to visit the COCHRANE, but now... he'd changed his mind.

Time: about 10 minutes later

When Darr'chuh materialized, he saluted COCHRANE's new captain. He'd only heard of Pol Canon before this. He was a bit curious about his old ship's new CO.
